The SCSI expansion board is a high performance I/O card that offers performance enhanced IDE’s cannot achieve.

Putting it back in 



PowerEdge RAID Controller is basically a storage intensive applications to help with the storage on a server. You can tell because its got it own CPU and RAM.  Cache technology backs up the data to non-volatile memory in a power-loss event and can store it safely for a nearly unlimited period of time.
